How did you get the name Dutchess?
I was looking for a name with a strong backing, Dutchess of York, Royalty, ect...
We’ve noticed that you’ve improved over time, what do you think are some of the causes?
Every battle, every time I want to be the best in what I do,(lot of writing, editing and I research. Besides fourth time around I'm bound for better.
What are some things you do to help you prepare for your battles?
I rehearse my rhymes to make sure I give off the right aura and consistently writing before a battle.
Who are your musical influences?
Remy she from the BX. Jadakiss, Styles P cause they real and talk a good one.
We hear you have a mixtape dropping called “Your Higness” have you set a release date yet?
I have not said a date yet due to other projects I'm trying to finish but should have a date set towards the end of the month.
And what made you start battle rapping?
I started battle rapping to make a name for my self. Get Dutchess established.
Who do you think gave you a run for your money or has been your biggest competition so far in your career?
No one, as of yet but have a big one coming up
Other than QB, there isn’t another female who faced tougher female opponents in the ring. Is that your plan
to face the best competition or you just battle who the fans would like to see?
I want to battle the best competition. I'm only gonna get better. To be the best you got to fight the best.
Who are you looking forward to battling in the future?
The future right now is with this battle coming up with Ms Hustle thats where I'm at right now
So, is the rumor true? Did you decide to leave Queen of the Ring and go to URL?
Yes it's true
Was it a personal move or a business move?
Every move is business related no pun intended
And what exactly was the reason?
At the time it felt like it was a better career move
How do you feel about facing Ms Hustle for your next battle?
I feel confident, this is my fifth battle not new to me anymore. I see its gonna be a goodie.
Is there any chance the fans could see you in the ring against E Hart?
At the end of the day if I consider my self top-tier . I know I'm gonna have to see all the top-tier female rappers

1. Where did you get the Name Ness Lee? -
what the bidness is yall? thanx for having me. as far as my name goes, i muffed Real Deal's girl one day while he was working. she immediately spit a freestyle and rhymed "bed squeak, neck weak, and Nestle" dawg. man, honestly i've been telling the wrong story for years but i just now remembered how i got it. first off i used to battle under the name Matlock on this radio show called "Who Got Da Flava" in Albany ga. i did terribly and when you bomb they "flush" you and what not b. my girl at the time was roasting me and was like "i could make sound effects if necessary". i was like "i like that" and started using the name nessessary/nasty ness. fast forward a few years i was rockin this song with and said something like "i'm chocolate and i spit bars...try and crunch ness lee". it was just a punchline but my man/mentor Rockwell loved it and renamed me basically. and there you have it b

i'm the best in Grindtime tbh. as we all should think we are. i certainly dont think i've been pushed to my fullest ability yet but my next battle will take care of that. win or lose. i think i'ma name that one "training day" you'll see why soon dawg
3. Working on any NEW projects, we can look out for? -
ohhhh baby am i. i'm flying out to Portland to finish the album with that short dude soon. i'm officially starting production on my next solo album "everybody love's ness". i've been running with that name for a while. its true to my life. people are always drawn to offer me help and want nothing in return. this became extemely evident when my house burned down around christmas. so i wanted to dedicate this one to everyone that showed support to me and my family. i didnt have many features on my last one but this one'll be a lil more diverse you dig me. it's gonna be fat trust me. i may name it "Mad Illz' neck b"

i just called Dirt b4 this interview and phone battled his panzy face b. that nigga soft honestly. i merked his whole brain in 3 bars. my whole last verse was about his stupid hat he wore at March Madness you dig me. why would you wear something like that? do you guys condone in it? anyway, thats my dude, we're similar in a lot of ways. i'm not sure i want that one to go down though. i dont want to lose to the homie and i dont want the homie to lose to me. i could see it happening after our name's both reached its peak

what was it like workin with him? -
thats not an actual song to be honest. it was a remix competition he did. i was the only one to make the beat and spit a verse on it. everyone i know that submitted a beat got a response in some way. i didnt lol. i think i may have offended. holla at me ash. hell froze elmo

6. Your wordplay & rhyme schemes are by far the best in Grind Time (my opinion)
Which rapper makes you wanna step your game up?-
man i try to do everything i can when i write dawg. funny, bars, bar structure, story, mean, personal...so honestly EVERY battle rapper you can name makes me want to step my game up. except for Loe Pesci. screw that guy, he sucks and i dont like him at all. but honestly i learn from everyone from V-Money to Math. everyone has something about them that can push you. there's no such thing as the complete battle rapper. if you dont think you can learn then you're forever going to be on the level you're on. good or bad
7. Would you ever Battle in URL/SMACK? if asked?-
i'm actually tryina get a battle over there soon. i spoke to the homie RemyD and he's down. so yeah, absolutely. we'll see what happens
8. In 2003? you battled in Showtime & Interscopes "The Next Espisode"
what was that experience like?
honestly that was a wild experience. i was treated like a superstar from the time the cameras started up until the show actually dropped. lol then i heard from nobody. got a lot of money, did a lot of shows, got signed to interscope blah z blah. it was a cool experience. it familiarized me with media savvy and what have you. i also learned to never do a reality show b. them niggas edited every positive aspect of my life out of the reel and painted me as a depressed artsy fartsy dude. when them cameras was on me in ATL i won numerous battles, performed at numerous shows blah z blah. none of that surfaced. i was young and real as hell. i wanted to give my entire life to the camera. i pretty much shouldnt have you heard
9. Anything you wanna tell the Fans who watch your battles?
if you want to hear screaming and fake aggression dont watch my battles. if you want to hear hood lyricism and something different, then yeah peep me out. also, i want to thank everyone again that lended a hand in my time of need you feel me. i owe yall more than you know. and please observe..rap is not for everybody
